Senior Engineering Project Manager

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead the development of autonomous surface vessels for Department of Defense programs. You will keep engineering schedules on track, coordinate resources, and ensure clear communication across technical and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and maintain detailed schedules, timelines, and milestones.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, and operations—to drive successful project delivery.
• Support resource management for personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Identify and track risks, issues, and mitigation strategies in partnership with senior project managers.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report financial performance.
• Prepare regular status reports for senior management and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, and external vendors to align expectations.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience in an engineering or technical environment.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Gantt chart creation and management.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar project management software.
