About the role
This senior leadership position will drive the U.S. healthcare professional (HCP) marketing strategy for Servier's first‑in‑class therapy for Becker muscular dystrophy, a rare neurology indication with no existing treatment. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will shape brand positioning, launch execution and lifecycle management while collaborating across Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access and global teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of the U.S. HCP brand strategy for Becker muscular dystrophy, defining positioning, value proposition and messaging architecture.
- Own all HCP promotional strategy across personal and non‑personal channels, partnering with digital teams to deliver integrated omnichannel campaigns.
- Drive launch readiness, field readiness initiatives, forecasting and demand planning to ensure a seamless transition from pre‑launch to commercialization.
- Generate actionable customer insights by collaborating with market research, sales and medical affairs, and incorporate feedback into brand tactics.
- Translate complex clinical data into compliant promotional materials and sales tools while ensuring scientific accuracy.
- Manage the HCP marketing budget, agency performance and ROI through data‑driven decision making.
- Hire, develop and coach a high‑performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, PharmD, PhD or other advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, including 8+ years in HCP marketing or brand leadership.
- Proven track record launching at least one U.S. specialty or rare‑disease product.
- Experience in rare disease, specialty pharmaceuticals or neurology and in developing disease‑awareness and HCP education campaigns.
- Strong understanding of promotional regulations, PRC review and commercial compliance.
