Senior DevOps Platform Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Platform Engineer will own and evolve a shared DevOps platform that powers software delivery across the organization. This hands‑on senior engineer will modernize Kubernetes/EKS environments, build reusable infrastructure services, and create a robust CI/CD foundation while enabling AI‑ready engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate a scalable Kubernetes/EKS platform, including networking, upgrades, and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
• Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules, golden‑path templates, and automation for rapid environment provisioning.
• Lead the modernization of CI/CD pipelines, enforcing standards for artifacts, security checks, and traceability.
• Automate onboarding and migration processes to reduce friction for product teams.
• Implement platform guardrails using IAM, policy‑as‑code, Gatekeeper, secrets management, and network controls.
• Enable AI‑ready environments by establishing secure governance and reusable integrations such as Model Context Protocol.
• Collaborate with SRE, security, architecture, and product teams to ensure observability, backup, resilience, and capacity planning.
• Provide technical guidance and convert recurring product‑team requests into durable platform capabilities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive hands‑on experience in cloud platform engineering.
• Proven ability to design and operate large‑scale Kubernetes/EKS environments.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and platform automation.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset across cross‑functional teams.
