Senior Data Consultant

About the role

Campana & Schott Inc. is seeking a full‑time Senior Data Consultant to join its fast‑moving New York team. You will work across the full data spectrum, from pipelines and models to schemas, taxonomies and architecture, while consulting with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines, models, schemas and taxonomies for client engagements.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into scalable data solutions and own key deliverables end‑to‑end.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders, communicating clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Help shape and grow a budding team of data engineers and consultants.
• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini) daily to enhance delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience as a technical data analyst, data engineer or data architect.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage time in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, SQL.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, Databricks, AWS, Snowflake.
• Data modeling and taxonomy design.
• Data governance, quality or compliance frameworks.
• Orchestration/Transformation tools: Airflow, dbt (nice‑to‑have).

• Base salary $120,000‑$132,000 per year plus discretionary bonus (0‑20%).
