Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Veeva Systems is a mission‑driven SaaS leader in the life‑sciences industry. As a Data Scientist on the Link Key Accounts team, you will transform multi‑source healthcare data into actionable intelligence about organizations, networks, and decision makers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply statistical and machine‑learning techniques to healthcare claims and structured data to create new metrics, such as readmission rates and length‑of‑stay estimates.
• Design and implement entity‑resolution and record‑linkage models across health systems, providers, employers, and payers.
• Infer organizational structures from qualitative signals, building org charts and decision‑maker maps.
• Develop data‑sourcing methodologies that combine public filings, web sources, and licensed data into accurate account signals.
• Partner with Product, Data Engineering, Engineering, and QA to move prototypes to production and iterate on solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on data science and statistics experience.
• 5+ years working with US healthcare data, including claims and organizational information.
• Proven ability to cleanse, experiment, assess, and scale solutions on noisy, incomplete data.
• Comfort with ambiguity and translating goals into concrete work plans.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
