Senior Consultant – Inventory/Material Control Analyst (Manufacturing)

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to act as an Inventory/Material Control Analyst within its Manufacturing practice. The role partners with business and technology stakeholders to design and execute transformation strategies for manufacturing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements at manufacturing clients to drive technology‑enabled improvements in throughput, quality, cost and sustainability.
• Conduct interviews, workshops and walkthroughs with subject‑matter experts to elicit and document requirements.
• Analyze and map business processes across engineering, production, quality control, procurement, planning, distribution and warranty.
• Develop data maps, business cases and design recommendations to support transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional client teams and Infosys delivery streams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to junior consultants on the engagement team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of at least one industry such as automotive, aerospace, defense or industrial products.
• Knowledge of discrete and continuous manufacturing processes, supply‑chain operations and enabling technologies.
• Proven ability to work with business and technology stakeholders on strategy, business case definition and process redesign.
