Senior Consultant – Insurance AI & Automation

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead AI and automation initiatives for insurance clients across the United States. The role involves advising senior business and IT executives, driving process reimagination, and delivering end‑to‑end automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Guide insurance clients through business process optimization, AI, and automation engagements.
• Map current state processes and design future state solutions across underwriting, claims, new business, and policy servicing.
• Implement intelligent automation technologies such as RPA, RDA, IDP, AI/ML, chat‑bots and Generative AI.
• Lead teams in the delivery of automation platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Pega Robotics, Appian).
• Utilize BPMN tools (IBM Blue Works, Visio) to model processes and support change management.
• Collaborate with clients using Agile, Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising insurance executives and leading transformation projects.
• Deep knowledge of insurance product lines (life, annuities, property & casualty, employee benefits, etc.).
• Strong background in process discovery, assessment, and automation implementation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
