Senior Consultant – Infrastructure (Milwaukee, WI)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Infrastructure Management team in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining client IT infrastructure across retail, consumer goods, and logistics domains.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and provide preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT environments, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities to identify maturity gaps.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components and produce technical documentation.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and oversee maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring continuity.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning and drive system optimisation.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing necessary controls.
• Identify automation opportunities, propose process enhancements and drive efficiency gains.
• Act as liaison among onsite, offshore and vendor teams to capture project requirements and ensure effective collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure consulting or similar roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root‑cause investigations.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with onsite, offshore and vendor stakeholders.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and assessment reports.
