Senior Consultant, AI People Enablement

About the role

Protiviti is hiring an AI People Enablement Senior Consultant for its Business Performance Improvement team, based in New York City (also Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC-McLean). The consultant mentors, trains and coaches interns and consultants, helps clients turn AI investments into sustained workforce adoption and redesigned work, and may take responsibility for project scope, staffing, deliverables and methodology under manager direction.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients adopt AI by combining workforce activation, organizational design and workflow transformation
• Identify risks and efficiency opportunities, and build relationships with client personnel and professional associates
• Support workforce readiness assessments, adoption diagnostics, activation campaigns, adoption roadmaps and champion/super-user networks
• Develop role-based learning journeys, AI Academy content, manager enablement toolkits and learning-in-the-flow-of-work experiences
• Design future-state organizations enabled by AI, including team composition, spans of control and supervisory models
• Redesign AI-enabled processes, handoffs, decision points, escalation paths and governance controls
• Support role-impact assessments, job redesign, workforce transition plans, value charters, benefits governance and KPI scorecards
• Create executive-ready communications, presentations and client deliverables, and interpret workforce and adoption data

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• 2+ years in organizational change, workforce transformation, organization design, change management, L&D, HR transformation, operating model design or value realization, in professional services or industry
• Supervisory experience including mentoring, oversight and cross-team coordination
• Interest in diverse client portfolios and strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred: experience with technology, digital, automation or AI transformation programs
• Preferred: exposure to organization design, job architecture, champion networks or benefits realization
• Preferred: familiarity with OrgVue, Celonis, Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, Agentforce or similar AI platforms
• Preferred: certification such as PROSCI, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or PMP

What we offer

• Salary range of $104,000-$156,000, with a 10% bonus target; total cash range $114,400-$171,600
