About the role
Prudent Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector with NICET III certification and bridge replacement experience to oversee projects in Rochester and the surrounding Monroe County area. The role involves ensuring construction work complies with plans, specifications, and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect construction projects at various stages to verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure adherence to safety procedures and OSHA standards.
Required profile
- NICET III certification or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience with New York State DOT or Thruway bridge construction inspections.
Required skills
- NICET III certification.
- OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of construction site safety.
- Proficiency with computer‑aided project administration tools.
