Senior Community Manager – Washington, DC

About the role

The Senior Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of multiple residential properties, leading on‑site teams and ensuring that financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input for property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, ensure timely rent and fee collection, and monitor revenue performance.
• Lead and develop property staff, coordinating daily activities and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws.
• Oversee resident relations, address community concerns, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Coordinate maintenance and capital projects to preserve property standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community or property management within multi‑family housing.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to meet financial targets and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
