Senior Community Manager (San Diego)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of multiple stabilized properties in the San Diego area. You will lead on‑site teams, ensure financial performance, and maintain compliance with all housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of two or more properties, supervising staff and coordinating resources.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and reconcile charges to appropriate accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, discounts, and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of community management experience.
• Strong background in income‑restricted affordable housing is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead client updates and communicate effectively with owners and vendors.

Required skills

• Yardi property‑management software proficiency.
