Senior Community Manager – Property Management

About the role

The Senior Community Manager oversees daily operations of multiple apartment communities, leading staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements, and monitor revenue targets.
• Approve vendor invoices, reconcile expenses, and control petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, resident applications, renewals, inspections, and collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise property staff, managing performance according to company policies.
• Communicate with owners, provide performance updates, and respond to owner requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of working independently and as a team leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Internet, word processing, spreadsheet and database management programs.
• Strong experience with property‑management software (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• All required state and local licenses/certifications for community management.
