Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, automation and stability of its AWS cloud platform. The role sits within a global Cloud Engineering team and works closely with application and platform teams to deliver secure, compliant infrastructure at speed.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Terraform modules and core AWS services.
• Collaborate with developers, platform owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, aligning work with business needs.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and key metrics, driving continuous improvement.
• Design reusable cloud foundations, patterns, templates and accelerators to accelerate service adoption.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning and embed security and compliance early.
• Document cloud architecture, processes and best practices.
• Mentor and transfer knowledge to other technology resources.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with AWS cloud technologies and architecture.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience delivering global enterprise solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and passion for delivering customer value.
