Senior Cloud Developer – Enterprise Modernization

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable cloud solutions that support enterprise‑level modernization initiatives. The role is based at Redstone Arsenal and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud service delivery models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) and architectural frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployment using DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Analyze existing applications and define migration, rehosting, or deployment strategies.
• Provide guidance on cloud strategy, cost optimization, failover, and recovery planning.
• Debug cloud stack issues, manage policies, and evaluate emerging cloud technologies.
• Establish and maintain secure, compliant cloud environments with high performance and availability.
• Lead the definition of cloud governance standards and ensure security and data‑protection compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and architects to align solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years in cloud development or architecture.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Proven experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
