Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for North America to drive strategic growth and transformation of its Customer Services portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Business Development North America, the role will translate market needs into business opportunities, partnership strategies and executable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new services, capabilities, business models and partnerships by engaging customers, suppliers, MROs and technology providers (40% of time).
• Lead assigned opportunities from concept through business case development, approval, launch readiness and implementation handover, defining value propositions, operating models and partnership approaches (40% of time).
• Act as the North American focal point for global and regional initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader Customer Services growth portfolio and presenting recommendations to leadership (20% of time).

Required profile

• Degree in aeronautical or aerospace engineering; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Approximately 15 years of progressive experience in aerospace aftermarket, business development, transformation or complex program leadership.
• Familiarity with the North American commercial aviation and aerospace aftermarket.
• Fluent English; French or Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
