Senior Business Consultant – Life Sciences R&D

About the role

Veeva is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to help life‑sciences companies accelerate the delivery of treatments by transforming R&D operating models with technology, data and AI. You will focus on one of the R&D practices—Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance—based on your background and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small‑scale projects, overseeing end‑to‑end design and delivery of high‑quality solutions.
• Manage project teams of 2–3 consultants, developing people‑leadership skills.
• Drive practice growth through proposal development and identifying new opportunities.
• Solve complex strategic challenges for life‑sciences leaders using Veeva’s data, software and AI insights.
• Support multiple R&D projects while deepening expertise in your chosen practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in life‑sciences consulting (business or management consulting preferred).
• Proven expertise in biopharma ClinOps, Clinical Data, Regulatory, Safety, or general R&D strategy.
• Strong analytical mindset for both quantitative and qualitative reasoning.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Veeva products.
• Experience delivering SaaS or tech‑enabled consulting solutions.
