Senior Associate - High Net Worth Tax Practice

About the role

Put yourself on track to become a principal in our firm. As a Senior Associate in the High Net Worth Tax Practice, you will work on complex tax returns and collaborate with colleagues both in‑person and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, partnership, and corporate tax returns, including estimated payments and extensions.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses to identify opportunities and suggest solutions.
• Maintain effective client relationships through responsive communication.
• Organize project activities, ensuring tasks stay within scope and budget.
• Support managers and principals with billing, realization, and collections responsibilities.
• Coach and support Associates in technical skills, systems, and processes.
• Conduct tax research, draft IRS responses, and handle other taxing authority inquiries.
• Participate in special projects with firm leaders.

Required profile

• CPA license in pursuit or recently obtained.
• 3+ years of experience preparing complex individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities to solve unique client situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax and CCH Axcess Engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
