Senior Assistant Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Senior Assistant Manager leads a dynamic team at a Taco Bell location in San Antonio, overseeing recruitment, training, and daily operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and orient Team Members and Shift Leads, building a strong, prepared crew.
• Develop and execute comprehensive training plans for Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Trainers.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance while fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Resolve conflicts promptly and engage directly with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Schedule staff strategically, coach on CHAMPS standards, and lead product rollout meetings.
• Analyze financial performance, manage budgets, and devise profitability strategies without compromising service.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant or retail management experience with a strong people‑management track record.
• Proven ability to improve performance through P&L analysis.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms used for scheduling and performance tracking.
