About the role
The Senior Analyst, Insurance & Risk Management will join 3M’s global insurance team, supporting corporate insurance programs and surety bonds. You will work closely with internal stakeholders worldwide, leveraging data to drive accurate insurance renewals and risk insights.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze exposure and underwriting data for global insurance programs.
- Prepare and review renewal applications, quotes, binders, and policies for accuracy.
- Maintain corporate and international insurance schedules and integrate standalone policies into global programs.
- Manage the corporate surety bond program.
- Issue insurance certificates and auto ID cards in a timely manner.
- Oversee invoice and payment processes for premiums, fees, and claim billings.
- Compile and analyze renewal and claims data for audits and reporting.
- Serve as primary contact for operating companies regarding insurance inquiries, bonds, certificates, and auto ID requests.
- Provide data and risk analysis support for projects as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (completed prior to start).
- Minimum five years of finance or accounting experience in private, public, government or military environments.
- Strong time‑management, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly adaptable, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
