Senior AI Engineer – Agentic Systems

About the role

Lynx Analytics is building next‑generation agentic AI solutions and needs a senior engineer to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of these systems. You will own both the agent‑facing pipelines and the underlying context layer that powers memory, knowledge‑graph integration, and retrieval infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deliver end‑to‑end agentic AI systems, including orchestration, tool use, and multi‑step reasoning workflows.
• Design and implement memory architectures (episodic, semantic, working) and integrate GraphRAG and knowledge‑graph retrieval.
• Build robust RAG pipelines with vector retrieval, graph traversal, and hybrid search, and define evaluation frameworks.
• Translate client requirements into technical designs and present trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Define reusable standards and patterns for agentic AI development across the engineering team.
• Set up observability, monitoring, and evaluation pipelines for production AI systems.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of software or ML engineering experience, with 2–3 years building LLM‑based or agentic AI systems in production.
• Experience in a consulting or client‑facing environment, comfortable presenting technical approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for distributed, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI.
• LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• GraphRAG or knowledge‑graph retrieval (Neo4j, Microsoft GraphRAG).
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant).
• Docker and Kubernetes containerisation.
• CI/CD pipelines, API development, testing.
