Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant (Controller Level)

About the role

PROVE Partners is seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant to work remotely and support its fast‑growing healthcare finance business. The role combines hands‑on accounting management with strategic treasury and internal‑control responsibilities in a globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate classification of all transactions.
• Oversee accounting operations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions and fixed assets.
• Prepare cash reporting, treasury activities and support budgeting initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to ensure timely debt payments and compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance within healthcare finance, specialty finance, receivables management or similar environments.
• Proven ability to work independently in fast‑paced organizations with evolving processes.
• Strong analytical mindset and high level of accountability.
