Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will ensure accurate ledger entries, reconcile subsidiary accounts, and produce detailed financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Process electronic check deposits and perform major customer credit reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset documentation and conduct expense research across all departments.
• Prepare general‑ledger journal entries, profit & loss statements, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and multi‑entity consolidations.
• Execute multiple bank reconciliations, freight profitability reporting, and multi‑state sales‑tax filings.
• Handle royalty, co‑op, and commission reconciliations, as well as personal‑property tax reporting.
• Assist with budget preparation, audit support, and backup daily banking, AP, payroll, and commission processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience or an equivalent mix of education and work.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage priorities independently and within teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
