Senior Accountant

About the role

EVERSANA is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate and timely accounting transactions, support month‑end close processes, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors. The role plays a key part in delivering reliable financial reporting for a global life‑sciences services organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to meet month‑end close deadlines.
• Lead resolution of issues on assigned accounts and reconciliations.
• Identify and analyze concerns in accounting records, providing proactive support.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with third‑party auditors.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting controls, procedures, and policies.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and suggest enhancements.
• Serve as backup for other finance team members as needed.
• Assist with consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and foreign‑currency accounting.
• Support purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience with month‑end close and journal entry preparation.
• Hands‑on experience working with external auditors.
• Knowledge of consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and foreign‑currency accounting.
• Familiarity with purchase accounting and acquisition integration.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
• Ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
