Senior Account Executive – Startup Banking (San Francisco)

About the role

Rho is seeking a San Francisco‑based Senior Account Executive to drive new business and expand existing relationships within the startup ecosystem. The role blends sales drive with a customer‑first mindset, focusing on community building and onboarding startups to Rho’s cash‑management platform.

Key responsibilities

• Attend multiple in‑person networking events each week to build relationships and engage with the startup community.
• Identify and target high‑growth startups in the San Francisco area for Rho’s platform.
• Win new business against incumbents and emerging competitors.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Construct, forecast, and manage a sales pipeline to achieve company goals.
• Deliver product demos and coordinate with customer success and implementation teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a closing sales role.
• 1+ year managing a book of business with quota responsibility, focusing on net‑new acquisitions.
• Track record of consistently exceeding quota.
• Experience selling SaaS, software, or financial‑services products, preferably to startups.
• Team player who enjoys wearing multiple hats and shaping a new market team.
