About the role
The Security Therapy Aide Trainee position provides on‑the‑job training to deliver therapeutic custodial care in a secure residential forensic unit. The role includes transporting patients to court, medical appointments, and other external needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic custodial care to patients in a secure residential care forensic unit.
- Transport and drive patients to court appearances, medical appointments, and other required outings.
Required profile
- Ability to work under immediate supervision for up to 12 months while receiving training.
- Willingness to work variable shifts in a 24/7 environment.
Required skills
- Basic interpersonal relationship skills for therapeutic settings.
- Ability to follow on‑the‑job training and implement care protocols.
