Security Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture Intern

About the role

Join Mastercard's Enterprise Security Architecture and Innovation team as a Summer 2027 intern, working on security infrastructure engineering and architecture. You will collaborate with technical leaders to design secure, enterprise‑wide solutions and contribute to Zero Trust initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, graduating between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Demonstrated knowledge of networking and security fundamentals, including firewalls, ports, and communication protocols.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks; exposure to PCI standards is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
