Security Guard - Reception Services

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Guard Reception Services professional in Peachtree Corners, GA. The role serves and safeguards clients in technology, media and telecommunications locations by greeting visitors, managing access and providing customer service at the front desk.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors and vendors at the front desk.
• Monitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs and following site-specific access procedures.
• Answer calls, give directions and information, and coordinate visitor arrivals with site contacts.
• Watch lobby activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns and security incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies, contacting the right people and supporting emergency response when needed.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment; licensing may be required depending on state and local law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
