Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer (Patrol & Emergency Support)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a full-time unarmed security officer in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The officer serves and safeguards clients in technology, media and telecommunications locations by conducting routine patrols, keeping a visible presence to deter security incidents and responding to site needs professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, service requests and critical situations, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control and report irregularities.
• Write clear, accurate patrol, incident and observation reports.

Required profile

• At least one year of security-related experience; customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen, and licensing may be required depending on state and local law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
