Seasonal Host/Hostess – Dune Deck Beach Club

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic Host/Hostess to join the Food and Beverage Service team at Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach, New York. This seasonal position runs through September 30 2026 and is the first point of contact for members and guests, shaping their overall experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a warm smile, using names whenever possible.
• Manage reservations and walk‑ins, scheduling via phone, email or in‑person.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and ensure they are seated promptly.
• Maintain eye contact, proper posture, and uphold club policies and service standards.
• Assist the Food & Beverage staff as needed and handle any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months experience in fine‑dining, high‑volume restaurant, resort or private club.
• Knowledge of local food‑safety standards and ability to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and long shifts.
