Seasonal Cashier

About the role

Lowe’s is seeking enthusiastic seasonal cashiers to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will assist shoppers, handle transactions, and support store operations during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by following Lowe’s policies, procedures and programs.
• Approach customers, understand their needs, and help locate, demonstrate, select, carry, or load merchandise.
• Answer customer and associate questions, guide them through the store, and walk them through projects when needed.
• Communicate product information, special orders, warranties, and program benefits.
• Write contracts and invoices for equipment rentals and tool repairs.
• Cross‑train in other store areas to enhance overall service.
• Detect signs of shoplifting or security risks and report to management.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Operate store equipment such as phones, paging systems, computers, CCTV, key cutters, panel saws, paint mixers, flooring cutters, and balers as required.

Required profile

• Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, smartphones or tablets.
• Less than 1 year of retail experience, including product identification, sales, warranty explanation, and housekeeping.
• Ability to obtain any sales‑related licensure or registration required by law.
