Merchandising Sales Associate

About the role

The High Volume FAST Team Member works within the Field Activity Support Team in a single store, handling end‑to‑end merchandising tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes and inventories while providing legendary customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and work scheduled shifts, typically Monday‑through‑Thursday.
• Communicate progress and issues to the District FAST Supervisor.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and on time.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store‑specific measurements.
• Conduct full store inventories, cycle counts, and the Tractor Way top‑cap process.
• Execute price changes and install store signage, including circulars, price cuts and manager specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs, and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver legendary customer service using the GURA methodology (Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Ask, Appreciate).
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT) and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Preferred knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine or welding.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑directed with ability to work independently.
