About the role
The School Office Manager supports the principal in delivering a welcoming, efficient, and compliant office environment for Sagewood Preparatory Academy. This role serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and the public, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate record‑keeping.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage in‑person, email, and phone communications.
- Implement registration, badging, and visitor procedures for parents and guests.
- Assist with school events such as Parent Orientation, Open House, outings, and field trips.
- Support student enrollment, produce welcome packets, conduct tours, and manage orientation sessions.
- Maintain student and staff records in compliance with FERPA, including attendance, truancy, withdrawals, transcripts, and audit preparation.
- Prepare reports, handle mail and packages, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars.
- Monitor office supplies, equipment, technology, and facilities, logging and reporting any issues.
