School Nurse, Support Services (2026-2027 School Year)

About the role

The Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) is hiring a Nurse, Support Services for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications are submitted through the online EDJoin system and must include several supporting documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, including courses needed to qualify for a School Nurse Services Credential.
• One year of successful experience in public health nursing, or two years of clinical nursing experience involving work with children and adolescents, preferred.
• Valid California School Nurse credential; if not credentialed, a valid California Registered Nurse license and transcripts showing a BA or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
• First Aid and CPR certifications (both required; CPR/AED does not cover First Aid).

How to apply

• Complete the online EDJoin application.
• Submit a cover letter addressed to Jennifer Flores, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, a resume and three dated, wet-signed letters of recommendation within one year of application.
• Upload a detailed copy of the California School Nurse credential (obtained from the California Teachers Credential Commission website) and transcripts.
• Applications missing required attachments or the detailed credential will be screened out; attachments cannot be sent by fax, email or walk-in.
