SAP Service Management Consultant

About the role

Infosys is seeking a SAP Service Management Consultant to join its Retail, Consumer Goods and Logistics unit in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality ERP solutions, customizing SAP Service Management modules, and supporting integration across business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and validate specifications against business objectives and ERP capabilities.
• Assist in solution architecture design and customize SAP SM modules based on detailed business needs.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain new features, conduct code reviews, and ensure code stability.
• Configure interfaces, execute ETL processes, and guarantee consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
• Assess ERP performance, identify enhancement opportunities, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for customizations and deliver user training.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, preferably within retail or logistics sectors.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SAP SM customization and implementation.
• Proven skill in translating complex business requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Hands‑on coding experience with a focus on design quality.
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders.
