SAP Data Conversion & Transformation Consultant

About the role

Join Deloitte's Enterprise Performance team as a Consultant focused on functional transformation within the SAP Business Transformation Services practice. You will support end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA data migration projects, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate, high‑quality data moves that enable core finance, HR and asset processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA data migration activities, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, conversion and validation.
• Partner with business and technical teams to define source‑to‑target requirements and resolve data quality issues throughout migration cycles.
• Migrate employee lifecycle data such as worker master data, organizational assignments, compensation, time, benefits and HR infotypes.
• Migrate asset lifecycle data including fixed assets, asset master records, capitalization details, depreciation attributes and retirement history.
• Execute reconciliation, testing and cut‑over readiness activities to ensure migrated data meets finance, controlling, compliance, payroll and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP data migration, data conversion or data management.
• Proven experience profiling, cleansing, mapping and transforming data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
