Sanitation Associate – 8:00am-4:30pm

About the role

The Sanitation Associate Level 1 ensures the production environment at Clio Snacks remains clean and compliant with food safety standards. This full‑time, onsite position supports the facility’s quality programs through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, floors, drains, walls and other designated areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
• Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and handle cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets.
• Complete sanitation documentation accurately and report maintenance or food safety concerns.
• Operate basic sanitation tools (hoses, foamers, brushes, squeegees) and dispose of waste per company procedures.
• Support pre‑operational inspections and comply with GMP, HACCP, SQF, lockout/tagout and other safety rules.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; basic literacy required.
• Sanitation experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
