Sanitation Associate – Third Shift (7:30 pm – 4:00 am)

About the role

The Sanitation Associate Level 1 works the third shift in a food manufacturing facility, performing cleaning and sanitation tasks to support food safety and quality programs.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, floors, drains, walls and other designated areas following SSOPs.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision, operate hoses, foamers, brushes and squeegees.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets and complete sanitation documentation accurately.
• Identify and report maintenance or food‑safety concerns, support pre‑operational inspections and dispose of waste per company procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; basic literacy to read instructions and complete forms.
• Sanitation experience preferred but not required; experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and GMP/HACCP/SQF guidelines.
• Safe use of basic sanitation tools and equipment (hoses, foamers, brushes, squeegees).
