Sales Specialist – Collision Repair

About the role

3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division is seeking a Sales Specialist focused on collision repair. You will join a global team of innovative 3Mers, driving sales of the full 3M product portfolio to collision repair shops across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts for all 3M products within the collision repair segment.
• Implement sales programs, plans, and policies in coordination with your supervisor.
• Determine optimal call patterns, frequencies, and priorities to maximize productivity.
• Support headquarters, regional, and zone campaigns and initiatives.
• Create business plans for end‑users and deliver solutions to everyday challenges.
• Track and measure all sales activity using 3M’s CRM system.
• Utilize a company vehicle for customer visits, subject to motor‑vehicle history review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of sales or automotive aftermarket experience, OR a high‑school diploma with five or more years of collision‑industry sales experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Strong relationship‑building ability and competitive drive.
• Well‑organized self‑starter with excellent time and territory management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for tracking sales activity.
• Experience using digital solutions for inventory management, calibration, or insurance processes.
