Sales Representative – Produce Distribution

About the role

Join Mr Greens, a leading privately‑owned produce distributor serving Texas and Florida, as a Sales Representative based in the Atlanta area. You will be responsible for expanding our customer base and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts across the foodservice and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new accounts by planning daily visits to potential and existing sales outlets.
• Analyze account volume potential and focus sales efforts accordingly.
• Submit orders using price lists and product literature, and answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Prepare daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analyses.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
• Recommend product, service, and policy changes based on competitive developments.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, preparing reports and recommendations for management.
• Coordinate with credit and transportation departments to manage receivables and delivery windows.
• Review daily and weekly reports on special orders, bids, and sales margins.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of outside B2B sales experience in the food or produce industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time‑management abilities.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must be at least 21 years old and reside in the Atlanta area.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screening.
