Sales Performance Manager

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Sales Performance Manager at its Austin airport location. Acting as a servant leader, you coach and mentor counter sales staff to increase revenue, which directly affects your team's earning potential. The role works with Operations leadership and local managers to improve revenue generation and sales effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leadership to assess, measure and enhance revenue generation activities linked to counter sales effectiveness
• Work with local managers to identify and analyse revenue opportunities for products and services
• Monitor the overall effectiveness of sales agents throughout the sales process
• Coordinate communications on counter sales initiatives, products and processes
• Assess business needs and recommend training plans and programs
• Facilitate local sales training and keep up to date on new training methods
• Develop and maintain training materials such as presentations, job aids, handouts and virtual class resources

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 1 year of supervisory experience, or Associate's degree plus 2 years, or high school degree plus 4 years of supervisory experience
• At least 2 years of progressive sales experience in a counter sales environment
• At least 2 years of experience delivering training and coaching sales professionals
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between assigned locations (about 50% on average)

Required skills

• Understanding of customer service and sales concepts
• Administrative and organisational skills using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Effective communication and ability to build trust with people at all levels

The minimum starting salary is $65,000, depending on geography, market, skills, education and experience.
