Sales Development Representative - Chains - North East Bay

About the role

The Sales Development Representative will rotate across multiple territories in the North East Bay region, focusing on expanding the sales of supplier brands to trade accounts. This full‑time position supports both sales and merchandising initiatives and may assist the Merchandising Department during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts on a daily route, establishing an efficient routing pattern.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting display ideas, new products, cold‑box, shelf and back‑bar placements, and promotional offers.
• Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permitted.
• Collect payments and process checks or other remittances in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Educate account staff through training seminars on brand portfolios.
• Track account buying patterns, pricing, and product programming to meet distribution and volume goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service focus.
• Ability to multitask, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines.
• Analytic and reporting abilities, sound judgment, and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using presentation software.
