Sales Controlling and Coordination Intern

About the role

This internship supports the AM/SCC sales controlling team by monitoring accounts receivable, communicating with tier customers, and handling claims and deductions. You will work closely with sales, logistics, and quality teams in an automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review aging reports daily/weekly to identify overdue invoices and monitor high‑volume tier customer accounts.
• Make outbound collection calls/emails, document communications, and escalate payment delays caused by quality, delivery, or pricing disputes.
• Handle claims, deductions, and disputes by requesting debit memos, chargebacks, short‑pays, and proof of delivery, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or marketing with at least one class completed.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, at least 18 years old, and authorized to work indefinitely in the U.S.
• Ability to organize large volumes of data into concise, accurate summaries and work independently with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
