Sales Account Executive – Transportation Services

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Sales Account Executive for its North Dayton‑Ohio Valley territory based in Wilmington, OH. The role focuses on selling the company’s industry‑leading transportation services to a range of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on all transportation services offered by R+L Carriers.
• Gain targeted market share on key lanes and grow business in selected industries.
• Target and develop relationships with key accounts.
• Promote market awareness and visibility of the brand.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitors within the assigned territory.
• Represent and promote the corporate image and culture.

Required profile

• 2+ years of LTL motor freight sales experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with personal computers.
• Knowledge of the local market in the Ohio Valley.
• Operations knowledge in an LTL environment (preferred).
