About the role

Citizens Health seeks a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a full‑time position at Citizens Medical Center, an acute‑care facility in Colby, KS. The role involves coordinating total nursing care, patient and family education, and collaborating with the health‑care team to maintain professional nursing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and assess patient and family needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications safely and timely.
• Teach patients and families, promote positive relationships, and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Maintain accountability for patient condition and support professional growth.

Required profile

• Current Kansas RN or LPN licensure.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and state Nurse Practice Act.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and maintain professional conduct.
