RN – Trauma Acute Care

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus on the new H60 50‑bed Trauma Acute Care Unit. This position offers the chance to help shape a brand‑new unit, build a strong team culture, and deliver exceptional care to patients throughout their recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update patient care plans while documenting patients’ conditions.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN experience considered).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in acute‑care nursing procedures and patient monitoring.
