About the role
Join Cleveland Clinic’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute as an RN PRN on the Cardiovascular Surgery Stepdown unit, providing care to post‑open heart surgery and telemetry patients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Two years of recent related nursing experience (or internal candidates with less after orientation).
- Military RN experience will be considered; BSN preferred.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
