RN - Pediatric Epilepsy - Neuro Expansion

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute as a Registered Nurse caring for children with epilepsy in a new 15‑bed unit. This full‑time position offers a day/night rotation and the chance to develop expertise in pediatric epilepsy within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with epilepsy and complex medical needs.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans, documenting conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and assess discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families about care, treatment, medications, and ongoing needs.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience (military experience considered).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• RN licensure and ability to administer medications.
