RN - Neuroscience ICU - Kings Hwy

About the role

This position leads patient care in the Neuroscience ICU, applying the nursing process in line with the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality outcomes and cultural sensitivity.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
• Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Promote customer satisfaction, employee morale, and professional nursing improvement.
• Adapt behavior to respect patient privacy and cultural preferences.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No prior work experience required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Effective verbal and written communication, able to present information clearly.
