RN – Med/Surg/Telemetry (MT2) – Days

About the role

This full‑time day‑shift RN position provides direct patient care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The RN leads the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures high‑quality outcomes for a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and staff.
• Delegate, supervise, and coordinate activities of licensed and ancillary team members.
• Utilize data and clinical information to drive improvements and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to respect cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Preferred: certification in a clinical specialty area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software applications, and web‑based systems.
